1. Publisher and scope

Server Guides is the publishing name of this independent, fan-operated Minecraft guide website. Contact the publisher about this notice at admin@serverguides.net.

This notice covers our informational web pages and enquiries sent to our contact address. It does not govern Minecraft, Microsoft accounts, the DonutSMP game server, rank purchases, or other external services. Those services have their own operators and privacy information.

We describe the features of this website below. The absence of website tracking does not mean that visiting a website, sending email, connecting to a game server, or buying a rank involves no personal information.

2. Visiting the website

You can read these pages without creating an account or submitting a form. The pages do not ask for your Minecraft username, email address, password, or payment details. Images, styles, and the logo are served as part of the website; there are no embedded third-party videos, remote fonts, or social widgets.

To deliver a page, the hosting infrastructure receives technical request information such as an IP address, the requested URL, and information supplied by the browser. Hosting or security services may retain request logs to operate, secure, or troubleshoot the website. The page code itself does not create a visitor profile or record your reading activity in an analytics service.

This notice does not specify a hosting provider or a provider-specific log retention period. Contact us if you need information about the infrastructure used to serve the site.

3. Email enquiries

If you email admin@serverguides.net, you provide your email address and any sender name, message, or attachments you include. That information is delivered through email services and is available to the publisher handling your enquiry.

The purpose of providing this contact address is to receive and respond to questions, article corrections, referral enquiries, and privacy requests. Please share only what is relevant. Email is not a private account-support or payment channel: do not send passwords, verification codes, payment information, or identity documents.

Email correspondence is separate from this website. Closing the page or clearing your browser does not delete a sent message from an inbox. This notice does not promise a fixed email deletion period. You can contact us to ask about a message you sent or request its correction or deletion.

4. Cookies, analytics, and the copy button

These pages do not set cookies, use browser storage to save visitor information, or include Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tags, remarketing pixels, or other advertising-tracking scripts. There are no newsletter forms or on-site purchases.

On the joining guide, selecting Copy referral address asks your browser to place the public hostname donutsmp.us on your clipboard. The button does not read your clipboard, identify your Minecraft account, submit a server connection, or send clipboard contents to us. If automatic copying is unavailable, the page selects the address so you can copy it yourself.

Opening troubleshooting sections and following the guide’s section links change what you see on the page. These actions are not sent to an analytics service by the site’s scripts.

5. Paid referrals and rank purchases

We earn a percentage of rank purchases made by players referred through donutsmp.us. This is a commercial referral relationship.

Referral attribution involves determining which purchases qualify for a commission. Copying an address on this page is different from entering it in Minecraft: a game connection and any later rank purchase take place through the game, server, and seller’s systems, outside these web pages.

Those systems may process player identifiers, connection information, and purchase records under their own privacy information and terms. We do not claim that using a referral address is anonymous or that only aggregate information is involved. This notice does not specify which fields, if any, the referral arrangement makes available to the publisher; you can ask us about this at the contact address above.

Server Guides has no checkout and does not collect your card details through this website. Before purchasing, review the seller’s privacy information, rank details, and purchase terms on DonutSMP’s own website and at checkout.

6. External links and service providers

Our guides link to Minecraft Help, Microsoft-related support, DonutSMP’s website, and other cited sources. External pages are loaded when you choose to follow their links; they are not embedded here. Those services can receive normal connection information and use their own cookies or tracking under their policies.

The website uses a referrer policy that limits cross-site referrer information to the website’s origin, rather than the full article URL, where supported by your browser. A destination can still receive your IP address and other information needed for your connection.

Hosting and email services process information needed to provide their respective services. Their locations, log settings, and retention practices depend on the providers used. This notice does not claim that all information stays in one country or is never processed by a service provider.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

You can read the guide without emailing us and choose whether to follow an external link or use the referral address. DonutSMP’s own website publishes donutsmp.net as an alternative to our promoted referral address; the server’s own data practices still apply when you connect.

For questions about information held by the Server Guides publisher, email admin@serverguides.net with the subject “Privacy request.” Explain your request and, where relevant, identify the correspondence you sent. You can ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with that correspondence.

Your legal rights depend on where you live and the law that applies. Contacting us does not limit those rights. Requests about a Minecraft account, game-server records, or a rank order should also be directed to the relevant service operator, because Server Guides cannot manage those systems.

8. Younger readers

The guide can be read without registering or providing an age or other personal details. Younger readers should ask a parent or guardian before sending personal information, contacting an external service, or making a purchase. A parent or guardian with a concern about information sent to our email address can contact us to discuss it.

9. Changes to this notice

This notice describes the current informational website. Any introduction of analytics, advertising tags, forms, accounts, or checkout features would change its data practices and require updated information and any applicable privacy choices. The date at the top identifies this version.
